Notes & Combos

I've recently gotten back into yugioh. I decided to go for a serious run to KoG this season, and this format is so much fun. I've loved this game since release and im happy to be playing again 🥰

I went from Plat 3 to Legend 5 with Favorite Hero, but after I hit Legend I got tired of not seeing Liquid Soldier in my opening hand so I switched to Destiny Effect. At first I couldn’t see why people were cutting Liquid and Wonder Driver, but I quickly started to realize how insane this version of the deck is. With Favorite Hero, you need to open with specific monsters to cap the endboard, but that doesn’t matter in this build; any monster = at least dystopia + follow-up. Crackdown MVP, stole tons of games with it by stealing my opponent’s monsters and using them as link fodder. The only change I'm considering is Malevolent Sin. It could probably be literally anything else to help against Orcust. That deck was a huge problem for me when I was playing Favorite Hero, but I didn't play against after I switched.

This climb was a ton of fun. Hopefully I can start entering some tournaments when my life gets back in order. If you've read all the way here, you are awesome. GG!
